<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>"Tell me somethin', girl
Are you happy in this modern world?
Or do you need more?
Is there somethin' else you're searchin' for?
I'm falling
In all the good times I find myself
Longin' for change
And in the bad times I fear myself
Tell me something, boy
Aren't you tired tryin' to fill that void?
Or do you need more?
Ain't it hard keeping it so hardcore?
I'm falling
In all the good times I find myself
Longing for a change
And in the bad times I fear myself
I'm off the deep end, watch as I dive in
I'll never meet the ground
Crash through the surface, where they can't hurt us
We're far from the shallow now..."

I think gentle touches are just a thing for them. Ulfric is SO huge compared to her, so emphasizing his gentleness...which is probably a very secret trait is fun. For Iona to touch him...he's not very trusting of such close, intimate touches. He's picky about who he lets get that close. It's a big deal for both of them.
Thank you, dear!

They've played that song on the country station now and then, or at least a cover of it, I think. Pretty good song.
Most men really just want a woman to be vulnerable with, to show his softer side, away from a world that's judgmental and treacherous. All a woman's gotta do is make herself like a tiny little hedgehog to fit that chink in his armor. They'll be together for life.
Sadly... those in power have politics as their birthright, or at least if they're nobility or royalty. Though I do wonder if even elected leaders and their children can ever fully be free from them.
