here's what he said about it, I thought they were very kind words, so I thought I'd share them ^^
"Now, what do I say to that, well, apart from my awe for the work, you've actually gone quite beyond what I expected to get (and that's an excellent thing!). I would never have thought in a million years for there to be the shadow (or mental projection) of the dancing partner! And it's insanely sweet because she's smiling so nicely, giving the feel of such bliss~ can't quite tell if she's reliving an extremely happy memory or just practising with an extremely vivid imagination. Either way it looks wonderful! With a nice magical touch, a little reminiscent of Moritz von Schwind's paintings (not to say that he drew the same thing, in fact I doubt he ever painted anyone dancing, but there's that same feel in some of his lesser known works, which is great!)
Thanks a billion for doing that I really do like it, and it was a wonderfully unexpected twist you did there (at least to me), which makes the image worth much more than what I had in mind, then again, you're the artist, and for good reason. "

So beautifully done, and Randomonlooker is so very right.
Very very lovely.
StarFighter, after watching your work evolve so much over the time I've been watching you, well, I'M SO VERY GLAD I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU!!!
And, is it bad that I've been known to dance with an imaginary partner more than a few times myself? >.>

And I'm glad to have watchers like you who can appreciate the feelings I put into these... they are a part of me, just on paper. I may not be good at writing, but I'm glad I'm able to make people happy with my drawings ^^
I think it's perfectly normal to go for a spin when nobody's looking :)

It's like just the opposite of me. I'd like to think I'm a decent writer, but I can't draw my way out of a paper bag -_- I think it's amazing how you can put such emotions into pictures, whether it be whimsical or playful or bitter-sweet. And again, so so very glad I've been able to watch you from your first few pictures on. The fact that you've improved and yet have stayed so true to your own style is so cool sweetie.
And cool, so I'm not just another weirdo lol :3
