Fire Spellflint is a perfect primitive way of cooking your food! Just don't put your hands on the bright red part... Magical materials like spellflint are very beneficial for drekir, particularly fireflint as the warmth can be used for everything from a sources of warmth for a drek in a pendant or in a home or as a cooking source that offers relatively even heat that a fire can't compete with, in small amounts it can even serve as a firestarter to stretch out the life of the fireflint instead of using the flint directly. the downside is the difficulty in making it, often requiring hours of work, knapping and compressing of mana that can be dangerous or at least tedious.
