There once lived a pair of imps who desired to have a child. However, as fate could be a rather cruel mistress, they were unable to have one of their own. One day, they met a witch and asked her if she could help them with their problem, and the witch offered a solution. She handed them an assortment of candy corn and candy pumpkins, and told them to place the items under a blanket while they slept that night. Complying, the imps did, and the next morning discovered a baby imp made of candy corn.

This young candy corn imp was named Rhita, and though she can be embarrassed by her own... edible nature, she possesses minor powers over candy, and can even create enchanted candies with a variety of effects instilled within.

Rhita absolutely loves cookies, as her parents actually own and run a bakery in their small underworld town. The smell of freshly baked cookies and baked goods always remind her of home, giving her a happy feeling within.
