Luckily for Hisato, his first foray into dealing with the enemy programming in the Digital World was rather easy. Since there was initially no threat to it, and normal Digimon had no affect upon it, it initially wasn’t all that strong. This allowed a still fresh Hisato to easily dispatch of them with no problem.

Due to the programming’s rampage, a lot of areas of the Digital World were decimated and turned into barren lands, with most Digimon having been assimilated or escaped to other areas. As such, Hisato was surprised to run into the lingering data of a Digimon that survived its encounter long enough.

Though he wasn’t prepared to have the lingering data quickly merge into him, resulting in a sudden Digivolution. He also was even less prepared for the resulting form!
