Err, i'm definitely not an expert in rabbitology. She is about 1.5 kg in weight and her fur is siamese.
It's a cutie i found abandoned on the street, heading back home one calm june morning after i had finished a night shift at work. She was still very young (perhaps 3 months) and abandoned in an urban environment. She hadn't a single chance to survive. My sweet heart just melted and I took her home :D

It makes me so angry people think that because there are wild rabbits, that domesticated rabbits can live outside in the wild too. Louka was also found abanded by a rabbit rescue. She had been attacked by something and had huge infected wounds all over her chest. Luckily she pulleed through surgery and I adopted her, now she's a spoilt little queen =)
He he, lucky Louka :D
People tend to consider their pets as objects and it is really sad. A animal is no living plushie, it's a living creature that deserves lots of care and attention. Rabbits are definitely no good candidates as domestic animals : they tend to nibble and chew about everything happening to be in front of their wiggling muzzles, they're easily scared by noises, they're not particularly clever either and most of all they don't act as dogs or cat would do (they behave as preys).
Why i love them so much is probably due to the fact that they're extremely cuddly if you learn to know them a little.

Yea, you definiatly can't have a rabbit if you don't want your carpets chewed, or wallpaper ripped, or remote control buttons gnawed off, or internet cables snapped in half...the list goes on =P
Louka is totally smarter than my dog or cat though, anytime I block something off she's not supposed to get into she finds a new and inventive way to get around the barrier and into what she wants. If I say no, she wants it even more.
