If you want action taken against a site then uh naming the site is kinda necessary?
Like what are people supposed to ask Cloud flare? How would that work?
Patreon has done some changes to help but with patrons themselves sharing the content there isn't anything they can do more.
I'm certain the artist's you tagged on Twitter are aware of that site. An awareness campaign is as likely to bring the site more traffic. And even taken down, piracy is as old as paid content, I'm not sure it is worth the fight. The people there don't pay for this kind of content, I have doubts taking the site down won't bring an afflux of patrons to artists.
Best be quiet and see what Cloudflare has to say. But don't lose sleep about it.

Not talking of the problem is no solution either.
If we stay quiet then we accept our fate and things will never change.
We need to warn new artists who are planning on starting Patreon and figure out ways to go around the problem.
Not saying the name of the site is a way to warn artists, without giving the site more visitors.
I understand that piracy will never be stopped, but it definitely can and should be somewhat controlled.
If we let it roam free, it will hurt us even more.
There has to be some backlash.

Not trying to be combative here but rather just looking at this practically. If you know that your content is being stolen from Patreon or indeed any site that SHOULD protect it's content owners then why not remove your content from their site and find a more secure host? Patreon may be the most popular but that doesn't mean they're the best at securing your content and thereby protecting your revenue stream. If enough creators depart then either they'll get their asses in gear and enhance security or else they'll disappear because they failed to stay on top of things. It may be more work for the content creator but back before there were so many sites that offered to handle the financial side of art monetization for a share of the profit, artists and content creators simply marketed themselves through their own websites and payment portals and the problem of content piracy still existed although probably less prolifically since the programmers who have to build the bots aren't as motivated to build one for every individual site out there.
Yes piracy will never dissapear as long as there is human greed. But same is with microbes and what not and your body still doesnt give up when one germ enters it, it fights back.
Artists don't have to let them to just fuck us over. We can figure out ways to go around it atleast and inform eachother.
For now I think artists have not communicated enough with each other of the matter.
We should work together, not struggle alone.

one thing ive done, is i used patreon to State updates and such. BUT i wont post art there. Ive been doing everything behind Patreon, which In order to see those rewards, You need the role for it.
its proven to be effective, and one of the things ive been recommending to all artists i know that use Patreon. I would implore artists to Use Discord to share/post rewards instead of directly on the website, as You can also securely add small changes that are invisible to others, but you know where they are so if it IS indeed posted, you can Zero in on who shared your stuff on "that" website, and ban/want others about them.

My friends do it, and those whom know about this, has done it too. My patreons appreciate it, and because im a sucker for security, I make it in a Dropbox link. People can access that link. And i change the password. so lets SAY that it DOES get passed in that website. end of the month, link dies, and unless they have the new link/info. they lose access, and the link i provide is unique. so... ill KNOW who shared it.

I guess the usual counter would be "the people pirating from the site are NOT the people who would have subscribed to your Patreon, so you're actually not losing a cent over it."
I think that's an oversimplification, but I strongly urge you not to take the false music and movie industry claim that "1 download = 1 lost sale." That was never true either.

Oh so much this ^ [Rakarra's first response. Shitfinity and it's shitty layout being shit.]
What tickles me more is when people charge £11+/month for a minute amount of images and then get pissy when it's pirated: You're charging MORE than Netflix & dedicated porn websites while offering SO MUCH LESS; and you get pissy when it's pirated? :|

I might love to help, but that takes time and energy.
First though, to determine if any cause is worth time and energy, the qualities of the relationships between the two parties needs to be known. Please describe the quality of relationships and bonds between furry artists and their paywalled fans.
Second, worthy social issues must have socially constructive higher goals endangered so that outsiders might see themselves as stakeholders and care about the issue. What socially constructive higher goals do furry artists provide though their paywalled content and creativity that are endangered through piracy of their content?

Well everyone should have the right to earn a decent living and artists have to make sure they do too.
Without art, what would people do in their freetime?
For furries, the artists brings to life their characters in different situations. These visual renderings are irreplacable.
It is not the job of the customer to make sure the worker gets payed tho, thats the job of the artist.
Artists must come together and help each other out: form a sort of an "workers union" to defend us from thievery and make sure we get decent payment together.
Being an entrepeneur forces a lot of responsibility on you, and working on NSFW stuff usually forces you into a worser position compared to SFW artists, cos you are working on something that is tabu and not neccesarily accepted nor supported by many:
certain services are not available for you or you are hidden in them, not getting as much exposure nor followers etc.
But I do definitely understand the need for adult filters on sites and actually wish that more sites had them.
It should be a priority for the consumer to help out the small art producer, cos they don't have much support to begin with.
Without artists many things would not exist to visually please us.
The more support artists get, the more they can create for you to enjoy.
Stealing their livelihood, demotivating them and forcing them to work much harder or to get another job, will impact the quality and quantity of the art.
Patreon allows creators to get support on creating something they spesifically are into and people to see how artists flourish when they are happy and at their peak creativity.
Artists will never be as motivated to draw the ideas of others compared to drawing for themselves and for the art itself.
