That lovely smokey dark damascus color has quickly become my favorite kind of blade period. And I still love your horse signature emblem! This is a very ignorant question but I've always wondered of a way of doing so, wanna tell me how you go about making your fittings pommels and guards?
The silver fittings in the guard are damaskeen works. I make a little rip with a trapezoidal profile in the metal. Then i hammered the silver in form of a 2mm strong wire into this rip. The silver wire is very soft and moves into the trapezoidal form of the rip. So the silver is fixed very well. If you grind it it seems to be one piece of metal and you have these nice ornaments.
