Cape Snow
Its October 23rd, my mother turns fifty today. I have been making plans for 3 months to go see her. I'm armed with a carrot cake and a 6 pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade, and some brand new wool socks as presents. I hop into my Toyota Camry, its lightly snowing. I pull out from my home parking lot, and the 60 mile trek begins.
And boy was it a nightmare. It was tad amount to driving on mashed bananas and snot. I swear, I didn't drive that car. I *suggested* The car goes in a general that way direction, and it might listen at low speeds (below 30mph, 50 kmh). This struggle went on for about 2 hours. But finally, I make it to the last 5 miles, the bottom of Cape rd. She was waiting for me there in a Nissan Pathfinder with snow tires and chains, so I parked my Camry here, got out, took this picture, and spent the day, night, and next day with her. And I don't regret one thing.
