In my continuing efforts to populate my various settings, I occasionally build a character up enough that I feel inspired to render them, to varying degrees. These two follow that pattern.

On the left is Imperatrix Raneda, the diminutive queen/empress of the planet Ranedus. Much of her history is shrouded in mystery, ambiguity, but it's not uncommon for her subjects to view her as evil, tyrannical, and in need of overthrowing.
Captain Vallahad, on the right, is a former captain of the guard turned rebellion leader. From the cockpit of the Gauntilus he leads a cell of rebel forces, orchestrating and organizing various raids on Raneda's various outposts.
