Thyroid cancer doesn't really go into remission. It just grows really slow. They treat it with radioactive iodine, yesterday I just got a tracer dose so I could get a scan today to see what it's doing and to see if I need another treatment or if the treatment even worked. Eventually if they don't kill it with Radioactive Iodine they might have to result to external beam radiation. It's a last resort and rare in thyroid cancer cases.

I have an appointment the 27th to go over the results of the scan I have in a few hours so I'll be sure to make a journal with the results for you guys. :D
