Lyse is a tough character...for me, Stormblood was not the strongest-written expansion and a lot of Ala Mhigo got swept under the rug imo (and we got short-changed on Lyse too...)
But when I take some of the good core concepts into my thoughts, I still find her story very heartfelt and even a little relatable.
She was running from herself and hiding herself for so long trying to be someone and something else...it had to have been hard.
Everything she lost and gained would have taken their tolls on her, but she's still trying. She was a good Scion, flaws and charms and all.
