Pic I did of my oc Draco and
pikminpedia’s Sergeant ‘Sarge’ Wolf, hope he likes it.
Landing on the roof of a small house, Draco stretches after a long flight. “Man, are my wings tired.” Exclaiming, he folds his wings up and looks around him. Seeing buildings similar to the one he’s on, Draco concludes that he’s arrived in a village or town of sorts. “Nice place, I bet they- ahh!” Suddenly the roof collapses under his feet and lands face down on what feels like a fur covered blob of jelly as it jiggles for a bit.
*Snort*”What the heck, who turned on the lights?” A male voice bellowed below him. Couching, Draco sees that he’s on a large, brown and cream belly. Looking down, he sees the individual shielding his eyes with his hand.
“I am so sorry, I didn’t even land hard on your roof and it collapsed on me.” Draco apologizes.
“Oh, I’ve been meaning to re-enforce it but been busy and forgetful with me work.” Moving his hand, the individual is revealed to be a mammal of sorts, wearing a pair of blue pants with black straps over his shoulders. Draco can see his white eyes with green iris’s. “Least you landed on something soft, little koblod.”
“Koblod?” Draco sits up on the mammal’s belly. “I’m no koblod, I’m a neo-dragon!” Spreading his wings to prove it. “See I’ve got wings and I’ve mentioned I flew. And what are you supposed to be, a bear?”
“A werewolf actually, though I have been mistaken for a bear.” Smiling up at Draco, he examines his unexpected guest. “I’m assuming you’re a dragon of sorts?”
“Sure am, my name is-.” Draco intro is cut off as the smell of burning substance catches his nose and sniffs it. “Something’s burning.” The werewolf sniffs too. A brief period of silence between them, suddenly his expression is turned to horror.
“Ohh!” Jumping off his bed, the werewolf sends Draco flying against the wall as he dashed into the next room. “My experiment!” Sitting himself up Draco rubs his head and feels a broken board is stuck to his horns. Prying it off, Draco gets up and looks up at the hole in the roof.
It’s small and could be fixed. Walking into the next room, a foul smell overcomes him. Coughing, Draco can see the werewolf is fanning out smoke out through an open window. “What happened?”
“An experiment I’ve been working on has failed due to the fact I fell asleep.” Waving out the last bit of smoke, the werewolf closes the window and folds his arms on his belly.
“Maybe you should’ve had a kitchen timer or something?”
“I did, but due to it having a power cord a rodent of sorts chewed it and I failed to notice.” Sighing, the werewolf pics up his failed experiment, dripping with water from being drenched with water. “Either way, it’s a good thing you did fall through my roof, otherwise my house would’ve been ablaze.”
“Really, guess that’s one good thing.” Draco rubs his head and looks at the werewolf’s belly, it looks like he swallowed a roast pig whole based on its mass. “You usually this big?” Draco asks, blushing.
“Not often, I’m a little bit smaller than this, but I don’t mind.” Patting his belly, the werewolf smiles at Draco. “Now, your were introducing yourself.”
“Oh yeah, I’m Draco.”
“Nice to meet you Draco, Sergeant Wolf’s my name, you can call me Sarge.” Walking up, Sarge offers his hand. Draco shakes it.
“Nice to meet you too, Sarge.” Draco lets go and looks at the mess. “We should fix your place up.”
“I agree, my work station won’t be a hassle, the roof though will take a while.” Sarge scratches himself.
“I can do the roof, I’ve had experience before.” Draco offers.
“Will ya really?” Sarge is surprised by this. “Okay, I’ll clean up this mess then grab something for us to eat. Tools and boards are already up on the roof. You can climb on with the ladder outside.”
“Okay.” Heading outside, Draco finds the ladder already leaning on the house and climbs it. Finding the said tools and boards, he starts pulling out the broken boards. Meanwhile Sarge is cleaning up his workstation. Finishing, Sarge walks back into his bedroom and puts his green shirt. Looking up at the ceiling, he sees Draco is hard at work.
Sweet derg. Walking outside, he tries climbing the ladder, but his massive gut prevents him from stepping onto it. Backing up, he cups his hands over his mouth. “Hey Draco!” Stopping what he’s doing, Draco looks down at Sarge. “I’ll be right back, just gonna get some food.”
“Okay.” Draco answers, thumbs up and gets back to work. Sarge whistles as he walks off to the market. An hour later, Draco is finally finished. Sitting down, he fans himself from exhaustion. “There, that’s that.” Getting back up, Draco climbs down the ladder. The smell of stew catches his attention, sniffing it. Sarge must be back, I didn’t even notice. Entering the house, Draco sees Sarge is stirring up a cauldron full of stew. “Hey Sarge, when did you get back?”
“Not too long, stew’s almost done. You can take a seat, Draco.” Sarge continues cooking, Draco sits down at the wooden table, seeing a loaf of French style bread and a jug on it. “There we go, it’s all done.” Pouring stew into two bowls, Sarge walks over and places one in front of Draco and sits himself down across from him, placing his bowl down. “Want a drink of water?”
“Yes please.” Draco answers, Sarge reaches for the jug and pours water into Draco’s cup as the table creaks under Sarge’s belly. Pouring his own cup, Sarge sits back down and places the jug down.
“Bread?”
“Yes please.” Sarge repeats the same process as before, picking up the loaf and tears a small piece off for Draco and a big piece for himself. “Thank you.”
“No prob, good work on the roof by the way.”
“Thanks.” Draco drinks his water and bites down on the bread. Putting both down, Draco picks up his spoon and scoops some stew up. Putting it into his mouth, Draco tastes the wonderful flavours. Chewing and swallowing it, he smiles. “This stew is really good.”
“Thank you. It’s my own recipe.” Sarge gulps down a mouthful.
“By the way, did my construction job get your room too dirty?” Draco asks.
“Not to badly, it was all on my bed sheet so I took it outside and shook it off.” Sarge answers, biting half his piece of bread and gulping it down. “Burp, excuse me.”
“It’s alright.” Draco giggles and continues eating. Soon Draco has finished his meal as Sarge gets up for more.
“Want seconds?” Sarge asks.
“No thank you, I’m good.”
“Alright then.” Sarge scoops up his seconds bowl full and sits back down at the table. “Got anywhere to stay for the night?”
“No I don’t.” Draco answers.
“Well you’re welcome to stay here then, if you want.”
“Gee, thanks Sarge.”
“No prob.” Sarge gulps down his second bowl and his water. “Man, that hit the spot.” Leaning back in his chair, he pats belly as the chair creaks. Stretching his arms, the werewolf yawns. Draco yawns too. Sarge gets up checks the cauldron. “Don’t have to worry about leftovers.” Walking into his bedroom, Sarge strips off his clothes and lays himself down on his bed. Draco steps in and looks at the werewolf’s belly. “Climb on Draco, I don’t mind.” Sarge tells him, Draco climbs up on his belly and lies down, looking down at the werewolf.
“Goodnight Sarge, thanks for letting me stay for the night.” Draco folds his arms and rests his head on them.
“Goodnight Draco, thanks for fixing my roof and saving my house.” Yawning, Sarge falls asleep, snoring away. With the gentle rhythm of the werewolf’s belly rising and lowering, Draco too falls asleep. As the night presses on, both friends sleep harmoniously.
