These are some flowers growing at the lake near my house. I thought that my fiancee 
meachy would like to see these, as well as my friend 
kusatsu because she also loves the color purple.

I have no clue what clue what kind of flower that is. But it's not periwinkle. This is what Periwinkle looks like: http://consejo.bz/belize/images/bus.....periwinkle.jpg
As for lilacs. The flowers on those are tiny and in a X shape, plus the plant is a tree/bush.
