After a long and tiring workout, knuckles sits on the steps of angel island and watches over his home, making sure that there are no threats to his emerald. He doesn't realize that he has already dealt with the newest set of thieves that tried to take what was his. They may have been able to avoid detection by shrinking themselves, but an echidna's step in a powerful thing. Now they litter the bottom of his sole, indistinguishable from the other specks of dirt.
