"Finally I've been sitting here for over 30 minutes I was wondering where you were at" Emo said a bit irritated as she kept a hold of the small light blue blanket in her left hand. The red headed demon let out a hesitant laugh as he moved his way closer into the hospital room,

"Sorry,I was a bit behind on my own work when Mitch pinged me about this. I would have come in much earlier but I had a lot of work to do" She watched him make his way towards the right side of the bed, his wings fluttering up slightly interested as he looked over at her side.

He let out a faint sigh noticing Chip's black and orange hair. She could tell he knew that this was definitely his,

"Not to mention Mitch was the one who thought it would have been the best intention to go through this now, considering I was past due by three days. I should have told you earlier on before I came in'' Steve only nodded his head fully understanding of the situation at hand, he was indeed a quite busy person when he worked here anyways, the fact he pulled time out of his day to come here even amazed her.

"Ah don't worry about it. if Chip is safe and fine that's all I care about really" He looked around the room seeing its empty space,"speaking of which, where is Mitch?" He asked curious Emo looked over at the door,

"Oh after he was done and all cleared me he went to go do some paperwork, he told me he'll be back later on" She replied happily as the young demon adjusted himself closer to the bed looking over at his newborn son as he slept nice and gracefully. He tilted his head in curiosity.

Emo could tell he really seemed to like Chip even though at first he was sceptical of becoming a father with a princess in the first place.It was quiet then at this point with Steve looking down awkwardly at her side and then to the clock on the left side of the wall,”Look...I’m really sorry” he said hesitantly as he looked back down at Chip.

This made her tilt her head in confusion. Sorry? There didn’t seem to ever seem like a reason Steve should have felt that way.But he approached her closer letting out a slight sigh,”This is my fault, I really shouldn’t have done what I did these few months back if I knew it was medically possible...I should of known we’re a subspecies of humans more clearer” he breathed before closing his wings almost entirely.

She tilted her head slightly,”Well you did cause a pretty huge commotion with my mother” she said with a sigh before putting her right hand on her face what a wild nine months it had been from first finding out, to her and Steve deciding to commit to being in a relationship to the whole angel and demon won't work thing… clearly in the end she and Steve had both proven Cassie wrong.

Steve slightly shrugged before looked hesitant the other way putting his right hand on his shoulder with embarrassment,”Yeah...A LOT of commotion” he blushed,”A lot of people were on my ass for so many months… I’m glad things turned out ok” he let out a large sigh, flipping his orange hair back slightly before giving her a slight smile.

She let out another giggle, he was acting stupid again… just like the first time she had met the demon when he to the Cloud Kingdom all thoses months. She smiled slightly as he looked at her awkwardly,”So hey by the way… how are you going to raise this kid?” he asked curious,”Obviously you’ll have to be in the castle by yourself with Cassie and by the spirits themselves I’ll be to busy to come visit the castle cause I’ll either by here or at my house-” He stopped as she inched him to come forward,

“Well...I was planning to move out of my mother’s castle and move down to the far side of the kingdom… you know her castle would just be a few steps down the road” she laughed as Steve tilted his head again. She could tell he still didn’t quite get the hint,”I’m pretty sure I could raise himself by myself…. Though a prince would be nice”

Steve still not getting the hint looked over at his kid once again seeing him snuggle himself slightly more in the blanket,”Well I mean that’s going to be hard, considering there’s no prince out here who would be willing” This made Emo let out a sigh, he clearly didn’t know what she was trying to get at here,

“Anyone would do, they don’t have to be royalty… I think I know someone who would make a good prince personally” she gave him a smirk as he gripped a hold of the bed railing. She continued looking at him before saying,”I do need someone to help raise him afterall” giving him a look. This made him grip the rail harder as he finally came to the realization of what she meant,

“Oh...W-Wait you mean me?” she nodded her head

“Well I mean you are his father, and well.. On technical terms we are dating it would make sense if you were put into the royal family here” She smiled as he grabbed the edge of his coat pulling him closer. He looked at her blushing again,

“I mean I’m not really that special, I'm just a demon who can heal other people. Outside of that I’m just…”he stopped for a few seconds,”... a mess” She pulled him closer, of course that's how he was and it should be like that… she didn’t exactly know if he felt the same way.. But she felt like her life was also just as a mess especially when she liked doing similar in the sense of helping people while staying in line with the angel code,

“Exactly and I look into the past of other people and just reflect on things as a princess outside of that… I’m also a mess, you’re perfect prince material for here” she giggled,”next to that we’re starting a revolution here” she looked down at Chip again as he continued sleep peacefully next to her,”We could easily stop specism here, especially with Chip” Steve looked down at him for a few seconds again before she inched him in closer giving him a kiss on the lips.

He inched himself back after a few seconds before nodding his head,”Hmm you make a point princess” he said happily,

“After this point you can call me Evaylnn you know, or just Emo. You wouldn’t be under my rule any longer as a royal”

“Right, sorry Emo” he laughed before looking over at the window. The clouds over head as normal as could be,”...but would your mother approve of this?” he asked curious.Emo only shrugged,

“Probably not, but hey you know we’re adult’s she can’t really do anything at this point” she cradled Chip back and forth with her left arm. He then smiled slightly as she got up slightly,”After I’m better rested I’ll get the wedding adjustments ready! You can go back to your job if you want” she said excitedly.

and with this we go into Chapter 1 of Apoc 3000! I think this was the best way to end the prologue in my opinion something sweet and simple and gets to the point. Of course this is just sampler hahaha the full prolouge is much bigger than this. But I just thought I would draw some cute plantontic stuff of Emo Steve and Chip because Chip is never this young in actual Apocalypse, nor is Steve this heavily unconfident in himself.
