The Halloween Tree 4 - preliminary expressions
...so i guess i'm posting old portfolio bits for a few days ...
So with approval on the previous post we started designing at full steam - a model sheet package - expression sheets, poses, etc - did a dozen or two roughs for each main character ... This project is looking amazing..... And then the guys developing HB's "Captain Planet" blew the budget with no usable models and i get ripped off a dream project to stave off financial disaster on a OMG This Is Lame Project.
A month later "The Halloween Tree" production had toned down the style - i wasn't there to talk with the animators....so.... a good animated movie !
Still...sharing these pics for the different version that almost was,,,,

Not sure what you're talking about here. i have been presenting a cool alternate design for classic "The Halloween Tree" animation - how it's sort of sad that this version didn't get made as the studio head and Ray Bradbury had both approved it and the studio minions instead compromised it.
