Guess who's back?
I've fought a long, hard 3 years to get where I am. Since I decided I needed a divorce, I have lost family and friends, my home, my very identity. I've also gained friends, invaluable relationships with people who knew me more quickly and deeply than a decade with others. A dayjob, which empowered me to afford my own apartment, my own bills. I do not underestimate the value of a steady income. If I am worth a wage that covers my bills in retail, how much more so is my art worth? My voice?
An agreement has been reached, at long last. Papers have been signed, all but pending the courts. I am ready to make my way back to my true work. I am ready to find what I have to say, and I will say it. And that frightens me and excites me.
