I tried Jackbox Party Pack 7 with a friend and there's this game that gives you a "Champion of X" prompt for which you have to draw a character. Later you see the opponent's Champions and then you make a hero that's better than theirs (You don't see the prompt). I'll go through them all:
John Tipsy (The Champion of Margaritaville): So I got the prompt and I immediately thought of something wacky like someone with wine glasses for arms (I know nothing about the different types of alcoholic beverages). Backstory: John Tipsy once drank a strange drink that changed his hands into wine glasses, and he uses this ability to settle shit in the ring. He might be drunk, too.
The Belted Breaker (The Champion of Being Expendable): I didn't have the prompt for this one, just meant to be a counter to someone else. The other person drew a belt, so I drew someone whose sole purpose in life is to break belts. He has belts he's broken all over his uniform. Even his hair is made of broken belts. This guy HATES belts, but at the same time the existence of belts provides him with his one goal in life.
CounterSpell the Negator (The Champion of Whimsy): I didn't have the prompt for this one, I was going up against a wizard. Counter magic is the best counter to magic, right? Here's CounterSpell, who studies counter magic. Against non-magical opponents, he's not good at all. He'll fail tremendously. However, it's his destiny to bring wizards to their knees in battle, like a pair of scissors cutting through a frail sheet of paper. The paper is fragile enough, but the paper can cover up and snuff the lights out of rocks, despite their fortitude and willpower.
The Dreaded Japefish (The Champion of Goofballs): I drew gigantic googly eyes and it ended up working toward a goldfish. However, you might notice that this is not any old goldfish. This one stands on its fins while emitting iridescent lights from the surrounding air. The true purpose of The Dreaded Japefish is unknown. It seems to be here for fun and amusement, but any who have doubted the Japefish's pure intentions have typically gone missing hours later with absolutely no trace. An excellent brawler against opponents who decide to mock it for looking funny.
