Back in October 2019, riots broke out in Hong Kong., and Chinese citizens got hurt and imprisoned during those times. Just wondering how dare we criticize and condemn the behavior of another country on people trying to exercise their right to free speech but then condemn the protesters and excuse the police brutality in our own country.

Yes, there are still protests in the US, and it seems like the US had forgotten the protests and sacrifices of Martin Luther king Jr and Malcom X. Even our election system is currently being bastardized, and people of color are having increasing more difficulty to vote.
It’s not just police that’s killing African Americans, but law makers who have not provided them the support and protections, the “Karen” pretending to be victims, and it’s the community for seeming to not have overcome the US Civil War mentality and every small thing now divides us rather than create opportunities to overcome them.
The reason I made this piece was because I wanted to show parallels between the police Brutality in Hong Kong and the still police brutality and unfair justice system On African American lives. As well as the Muslim concentration camps is not so different from how Nazi Germany put Jews in concentration camps.
I know the Chinese media is very skewed in what’s going on in the world, but I am sure with a healthy a sound mind you can see what the lies are, what are the twisted truths and pull the real truth and problems from it, And what’s not being said.
I do not have the truths or the answers, but from a Chinese American to my cousin in China, I hope we can keep in touch.
