You always show me new angles on critters I'd normally not think twice about... being from the West Coast, my usual instinct around barnacles isn't 'pick them up and inspect them' so much as 'try not to step on them because holy crap they will cut your feet up like damn'. I feel really dumb now for not being more interested in the local wildlife while I was still living there! Someday you and I must go and explore <3
