OLD ART Bart's Rosa
Old old artwork from 4 years ago, that I did for my friend Bart. He rediscovered it after I gave it to him so many years ago, and wanted me to scan it, soooo... here it is.
I'll admit, I really respect Rosa in so many ways. I still do. Rosa, I joke with many people, was the first creature that ever made me fall in love with blue eyes. I used to be really prejudice against people with ANY other color eyes than brown. The same with hair. I was....... a very "interesting" person to say in the least. But some how, Rosa made me appreciate blue eyes more than anything. What was it about her eyes that made me fall in love with her...? I loved her so much, I even wanted to tear apart my stories about Matt and Erika just to pair Matt with her. It was crazy, and I was that passionate about her.
Rosa is a very special being. From stories to roleplays, to late nights just talking about his character... Even to the talking animated Eevee Bart salvaged from a then-friend's toybox and traded so much to have. Back in 2002, I used to carry Rosa around in my pockets during school, and have her in my locker when I needed time away from people and things. She was both a fictional character we talked about in stories and roleplays, and also "real" in the sense of the plastic doll that I would constantly "steal" from Bart just to spend a few hours or days with. There was never a dull moment with Rosa...
This was actually the SECOND picture of Rosa I drew for Bart. The first one I had Bart sit with me, and I drew her. I wanted to know EXACTLY what she looked like... So, I had Bart describe her for me, and I would draw her. He would open his eyes, and tell me why it didn't look like Rosa. I wanted the drawing to be PERFECT. I would NOT settle for 98%, 99%, even 99.999%. It was my passion for this character that I worked so hard to ensure total perfection... When Bart lost the drawing, I quickly redrew her from the best of my memory. "It looks 66.7% like her..." I remember him saying. I was about to rip it apart when Bart stopped me, saying it was still perfect in his eyes. "Everyone has their own interpretation of what they see," he told me. "This is how you see her."
"But I don't want to see her how I see her. I want to see her how YOU see her." I'm so difficult sometimes. x.x
Rosa is totally © Bart, a forever friend, and a forever brother. Here is to the bus rides we used to have, the long nights just talking until the sun rose up, the days we used to play Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, the days of RPG Maker, the late-night phone calls with help with the computer, the days I used to eat all your oatmeal cream pies and never get fat... To the days we played in the sand pit behind your house, and swung our swords around like crazy bastards. Here's to the days I vowed never to change, and never to cry. Here's to Lunar: The Silver Star Story Complete, and to all the Pokemon card games we used to play. To Yu-Gi Oh and my constant stubbornness never to change from my Pokemon ways. To Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, and to that crazy shit Teddy and you made in that f*cking smelly awful vase that used to be ABOVE YOUR COMPUTER UP HIGH ON A SHELF. XD;;;;; I STILL never knew WHY you kept it there for OVER A YEAR. GOSH that was awful. l3;;;
To you, my beloved friend, and to all the crazy memories we ever had together. I would never have found me, if you hadn't ever found me first. Thank you, Bart. :P

You'll visit again, right? =3 What are you worrying about? You've got everything you've ever wanted. ^^ I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, and the best part is, we're still friends. Don't worry about the door behind you. There's still plenty of doors ahead of you, and one of those doors is one waiting to open when we'll meet again. =^.^=
