Hi rocking furs,
The 3rd entry and 2nd request for this months ROCK special: Panic Station by Muse. The most modern piece in the circle. Cool song, yet not my favourite Muse song. And it was quite a quest I might add - like most of these hard rock songs are for me.
Next week I'll tackle our missing decade, the 90s. There are already suggestions from me down below, but you can contribute your own!!
I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for listening! <3
"Panic Station" is a song by English rock band Muse, released as the fifth single from their sixth studio album The 2nd Law on 31 May 2013. The song was written by Matthew Bellamy. It is featured as the third track on the album. It is their first single to contain profanity. (... Just one word, so I made it SFW :3 )
Software used: Ardour 6.0
Effect-Plugins used: a-Compressor (mono and stereo), Dragonfly Room Reverb, a-Delay (127 ms), Calf Equaliser 5 Band, Hard Limiter
Vocals: 100% me

I can't understand how it is that you are not in a band... you are so very good at whatever music you decide to do... this was awesome...
as to a recommendation - American Authors - Best night of My Life (but I don't think it's 90's) - it is almost furry in the video and just makes me smile every time I watch it.

Thank you. :3
I am kindof in a band. I and my mate, we play only for charity at the moment. And my main role is rhythm guitarist with some background singing and occasionally a lead part.
But in my very first band I was lead singer - and I'm not very proud of how I've sung there.
Your recommendation isn't exactly what I was looking for for the slot, but I really like it. I'll fit it into December. :3

Thanks a lot. I'm very glad my weird singing didn't put you off. haha
Yea, I went pretty crazy there.
I wasn't too comfortable with how I've performed it and my voice is probably not overly appropriate to cover Matthew Bellamy and I had some breathing problems on that day ... but... well, I' slowly starting to like it better the more I hear it. :3
