I wish more people would understand this reality hooks concept when I get upset about mundane details of my specialty (computers 'n stuff) getting mangled in TV shows (oh, I don't expect them to get the arcane details down, but if you're reading data from a hard drive recovered from a computer in a crime drama, plug the damn thing in, and don't wave a wand over it.)

Unless the device is a Sonic Screwdriver, I am inherently suspicious of all magical software scanning devices in television.

I'm not sure what it was, but it was on an episode of Numb3rs, which does not have sonic screwdrivers, but otherwise is a show that does pretty well in getting their research right (I will forgive them the weeks of programming it would be necessary to commit to turn Charlies theories into usable programs.)

Very nice. I'm trying to do a podcast myself, and I think you managed to handle a potentially quite boring issue in a very entertaining way. It also didn't seem like 6 minutes, it didn't drag on or anything, so well done :)
