Just something I came up with this morning. I have been wanting to write, and this came to me as I was listening to some softer music. I hope you all enjoy it.

Seriously, Scier, I can't stress enough how much I admire this poem of yours! =O
You have grown to be quite the classic poet; your iambic tetrameter sings flawlessly, and the message is as lovely as the meter in which you present it in. ^^
I had to read it a few times to fully grasp it, and I hope I did. The speaker is the one deceased, yes? The last quatrain echoes that especially well (if so); it's my absolute favorite! \(^o^)/
Oh oh, but the initial quatrain is just as good, really:
"The beauty of my funeral
shall hardly coup my sparkling life."
What a wonderful way to open such a poem; simply MARVELOUS! D8
You enkindled some serious poetic passion in me, Scier, and, for that, I thank you; I haven't worked on anything for weeks! (-_-)
