I always get commissions of Mataur in very aggressive, mean, bad boy scenarios, but for this one I wanted something different; Mataur as a character is a complex one, one created by the ills of society and the abuse he experienced from those in power and with privilege. Sometimes Mataur looks at himself, the monster he had become and begins to reminisce about the life he used to have prior to become a monster; a petty thief from a impoverished family, a mother he feels has long passed away and a father he has ill feelings towards to leading him down his path. He ponders if he has any chance of redemption and some day be even better than what he once was.
