The city is set upon by a veritable army of Bebeliths, demonic arachnids.
The guards aren't enough alone, so there was a call to adventurers and mercenaries to join with the defence, Stonemask being a new addition to an adventuring party which agreed to assist.
Most of the team fight from atop the gates with spell and bow, but the rat cleric is one for melee combat and took to the ground to protect the gates. One creature managed to break through but the group managed to kill it before it pushed its way in, with divine strength he pushes it away to do battle with another approaching monster. Becoming the last wall against this demon's path.
