They had met in the garden early in the morning. she was careful to make sure she had not been seen on her way there. Once they had arrived she could not describe the joy she felt even from the gentle embrace he had given her in welcome. while watching the sun rise they spoke of numerous things, and sometimes nothing at all. A sparrow disturbed their peace, and caught Kirien's eye before it flew away in fright. She turned to see who had frightened the kindred spirit away to look upon the face of Lord Dehvi....
