I love hats ^^; (especially fedoras) and I also love pokemon (especially typhlosion and arcanine) So I thought I'd design a hat, I was originally going to do typhlosion, but I decided to go with quilava cause he's adorable and has a mohawk. (I'll probably still end up designing one for typhlosion too, I luv my Ember)
I found an awesome tutorial browsing around today for making these fleece beany style hats so I thought once I get a hold of some $ I'd try my hand at making one since this is a fairly simple design. I have a huge weakness for wanting to make stuff.
I'm planning on making the ears pose-able so they're going to have to be lined with some stiff yet flexible wire, same with the mohawk even though I don't plan on posing that it still needs to be rigid enough to stand up on it's own. The yellow of the flame will either be painted on (fabric paints so it's washer safe) or just yellow fleece sewn onto the orange, I'll figure that out later.
;) and hey if I get proficient at making these I might be able to open up comissions, lol.
