Yay, a comment on this. Yes, I will be working on the next chapter soon. Already planning it out in my noodle. Persephone isn't a bad character. She's actually new to me, because most female companions I write have a more nurturing personality. Persephone is the wife who hates her mate and stays as far from him as possible. Their relation even becomes a little comical later on. I promise to make a bio for her soon and she will appear in the first story.
yeah, though in the old legend it does appear that they have some sort of relationship together. Not a bad one, but it seems that they do like eachother at least a bit. Then he makes her partake of the fruit. That was his mistake. He forced her to have to remain in the underworld. He took away her freedom to choose. If he hadn't I think she would have come back willingly.
true, but in the legend she actually enjoyed herself with Hades while she was there if I recall correctly. But that relationship was ruined when hades made her eat the forbidden fruit, dooming her to have to always return to the underworld. No one deserves to lose their free will, nobody.
But she could return during the spring for three months. I don't think she enjoyed her time there, but there are many versions of the same story. The story wasn't just to show the changing of the season, but a coming of age story. Innocent girl goes through adventure and trials and returns a mature woman.
