Another of my Kole's creepy pasta stories in which I called "The Weeping Ghost of Moonshire's Lake"
Owen Jones was never the kid who believe in ghosts but he did hear the strange stories of the urban legend that is famous around his new hometown. He was what most people would called a nerdy kid but he was nice. He was more into rockets and stars and was smart. But like most nerdy kids he had to deal with bullies, it didn't help the fact that he had two moms. Don't get him wrong they both loved him and he loved both of them dearly back but he wish that he would be stronger to stand up for them. They had to move to the small town of Moonshire to get away from the prejudice his mothers had to face but it was mainly to keep their son safe. But sadly hate and prejudice takes on many forms mainly from Gordy and his gang or as the kids call him "The Smasher" and he lived up to his nickname. If Gordy wants something from you, you either give it to him or he smashes you in the face. Him and his goons were a group of high schoolers who got held back a couple of years and it was deffinitly not for good behavior.
It wasn't long before poor Owen was the target of Smasher's abuse, he gets called a freak by Gordy and his peers for having two moms, and they are pretty sure if was Gordy and his gang who smashed their mail box and threw rocks and eggs a their window but of course they can't prove that. Owen wish that he would make them stop but it didn't help the fact that they were bigger and stronger than him. However Owen do have a few tricks of his own being a smart kid like tricking them the Principle or a teacher was behind them so he can make his get away, plus he was a fast kid.
Anyways Owen learn about the local legend from some of the kids he made friends with in school. They told him that a long time ago before the town of Moonshire was built there used to be a wealthy young widow who lived in a mansion with her four children. They lost their father during the civil war fighting for the union. Because of her family's wealth they weren't hurt financially but more emotionally. However one day they met a a shifty stranger who offered his hand in marriage. At first he was a great guy, never abuses the kids, treats the mother with love and respect however he tricked her into signing her fortunes over to him so he would have the finances to pay for their wedding. He told her to have the reception over their lake which the town was named after. The mother agreed and wore her wedding dress and her four kids two girls and two boys joined her on their boat. The man told them that he would catch up to them in his own boat because he didn't want their boat to tip for having too many people on board. However when the mother and her children reached to the middle of the lake the boat sank, the greedy groom had drilled holes in the boat and it would not sank until it reached to the middle of the lake. The mother and her kids could not swim in time and soon they all have drowned in the lake.
The evil man was caught however and was sentence to life in prison for murder and embezzling. Still the damage was done, they say the the mother became a ghost bride over the lake and her black tears of sadness rain on her dead children turning them into fish like monsters. Some say if you hear her weeping you better stay away from the lake for if you are the kind of person who is wicked and hurt others out of spite and joy then her fish creatures will come out and drag you to the bottom of the lake never to be seen or heard from again.
Despite this Owen brush it off, he did however went over to lake Moonshire to try out his new telescope his Mom's got him for his birthday. It was a full moon and clear night sky perfect for star gazing. He munch on his cookies and listen to some music on his Ipod radio while the light from his electronic lantern was glowing brightly. However he heard some twigs snap and there in the forest was Gordy and his gang. They had followed him from town and decided to pay him a visit and beat the snot out of him for fun. One of Gordy's gang took Owen's telescope and smashed on the rock while the other two held Owen back as Gordy took Owen's Ipod and threw it in the lake and then Gordy punched Owen in the stomach causing poor Owen to kneel down in pain. On the ground Owen saw what appears to be an old hearts locket from long time ago. However he didn't had time to examine it for Gordy picked up Owen by his hoodie and punched him in the face making his nose bleed. Gordy and his gang just mocked him, jeering Owen saying "Are you gonna cry you freak baby! Run home to your freaky Mommies. Having two moms don't make a right you little creep!" Owen had enough and yelled at him "STOP PICKING ME! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" That only caused the bullies to laugh harder and taunted him some more. That is until they heard the sound of a woman wailing, suddenly fog had appeared around the kids.
Gordy and his gang soon stopped laughing long enough to see they are surrounded by thick dense fog. Then in the middle of the lake they spotted a pail ghostly figure wailing and crying, her face was covered in a wedding veil but they can see the dark blue glow of her eyes and black tears stained her veil, her long black hair flowed in the breeze as she floated towards the bullies. "You have hurt the innocent just like the man who hurt me and my children. Now you must pay for your misdeeds! Come to me my children of the deep!"
Suddenly they heard splashing coming from the lake as if someone or something was swimming in it. Then emerging from the water was four large fish like monsters. With dark black eyes, webbed feet and claws, sharp teeth's sticking out of their mouths. When Gordy and his gang saw them they all screamed in terror and started running but they were not match for the fish monster's speeds as one by one each creature grabbed hold of each boy and dragged and carry them to the lake. Gordy was the last one as one of them dragged Gordy by his feet as he pleaded to Owen. "HELP! HELP ME! I WON'T EVER SMASH YOU AGAIN! PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Soon Gordy's pleads were silenced and the bullies were long gone as the fog was starting to clear up.
Owen decided to make his escape when the weeping ghost appeared in front of him. Owen thought this was the end of him but the ghost only handed him his Ipod which is amazingly dry and his telescope which is now no longer broken but fixed like brand new. Owen realizes that she and her fish monsters don't wish to hurt him, then he remember spotted the locket on the ground. He picked up and present it to her, it open up and showed a picture of a woman with her four children and realizes that it was the ghost and her four fish creatures back when they were alive. Owen told her "Won't you all come home maybe my Mom's can help you and..." but she closed the locked and placed a finger over his lips. He figured out that she doesn't want him to tell anyone what had happen. He agreed and promise to keep this encounter a secret.
Many years later Owen never return back to the lake, at least not at night during the day Moonshire Lake was a safe place to be. But at night for those who are evil and wicked they always ended up being the ones who vanishes forever.

Thank you. I tried to be a kids book writer but you know lots of red tape, then there's the need for like illustrations or we have to correct the grammer and error problems which they seem to find but I can't, and of course you need experience. In other words other than writing I have to do all the hard work and I guess basically you need to know someone to get yourself publish.
Anyways thanks I was going for scary.
