La`Dezu (M) and Voru`Naulus (F), xirtans who went to pursue different foster cultures and occupations. Dezu went and studied zoology among the valati, and Naulus became an assassin trained by augries.

When xirtans reach adulthood, they are presented with the choice to leave their birth city and venture forth, meeting other races and undergoing trials unlike anything they've experience. Many xirtans who chose this will adopt themselves into another race and their culture, referring to them as their foster. Ultimately, however, they still retain the core values of the xirtan people and lifestyle; survival of the fittest.
