Clues are scarce this time, but I've got one attribute to work with: the mention of "white ears [with] gold stripes" near the end. The green-and-white cloth the game was wrapped in could go either way. Unfortunately, I don't know who among the suspects have matching features.

The suspect dossier is in the Thirteen Tales Index. Everyone involved is there, and everyone involved is a victim in one story and the cause in another. Like, just by doing some research, I am certain I know who this one is, and to avoid spoiling it for sure I'm just sending it to Calex in a DM. :D
