Blue Heron fishing out a bluegill sunfish for his dinner in Spoon Lake in Saint Paul. One of those great capture-the-moment shots. Some shadows and distortion on the water that can't be easily edited due to the fact I was shooting towards the sun without a polarizer on. Still one of the best shots of the day.

Amazing capture! That looks like a big fish (you know what kind?) staring down its captor's throat here! So could the bird really manage to win the battle and gulp that whole thing down entirely okay??
Does the fish put up a good fight, if eaten, does the unlucky prey get swallowed wriggling all the way as well?!
