I think the grass one is good, but to add, yeah, my big sis got me a treeco from my emerald, and it lasted for a while that she didn't use DanGreen (yes, my big sis named my treeco that) and up to the point that we were to go after the thunder badge, neither of us would have made it, but we trained the pokemon some more, and we beat him. Hopefully she's might actually be using him, I dunno, oh and treeco is da bomb C:

Yeah, I'm really, REALLY hoping that FirePig evolves into something awesome. I usually love the fire and grass-types. Never had a reason to pick the water-starter because there was already a water 'mon in game that I picked (Lapras, Horsea for Kingdra, Lanturn, etc).

As it stands, I want Smugleaf.
