We pounded it out today. I think this will be a trophy tattoo for me. He loves it, and was practically squeeing with joy (when I wasn't poking him!) I think we went at it for about 6 hours today.
Session one is over. I'm exhausted.

It is a Huck Spaulding! I was using the Quick Change Stinger, but I recently rebuilt it. It was a kit, and I hand built it to get to know my machine better.
I've since rebuilt it, since I had a coil go bad. I have another frame laying around here somewhere. I guess I should put that one together too!

Spaulding!? Blasphemy! *sprays you with holy water* XD
but seriously though, try switching out he coils and capacitor for pulse international, they run cooler and more consistent. sadly huch is not reputable for good coils,
Im actually selling a time machine for 120 dollars (yes that freaking cheap)

I actually rebuilt the machine, and not long ago. It did get hot when I worked for hours, and I don't have that problem since the rebuild. I ran it for about 4 years before my coils went bad. I actually had a capacitor blow on one of my other machines right after I bought it. I rebuilt that one as well. They both run like fuckin' tops now.
Not sure. LOL! I got them last minute from a small tattoo supply in St. Louis. I tested them hard before I set them to work, and they are wonderful! They don't get hot at all and they don't sputter, just solid as hell. My machines haven't run better!
I'm really glad I bought them. I had a capacitor blow, and I had appointments the next two days after I got back from Indiana.

Sputter? I never heard of that before, are you sure your connection on your binding posts didnt just temporarily give out? Or maybe it was out of tune, I know Huck sends his machines with alot of tension on the rear spring and little in the front. Thats why I dont buy from next gen, they do a 18 gauge front spring and a 20 guage back spring...no harmony whatsover
but thats cool! what was the supplier? I am in the market for new parts :3
