Initially, he was an imitation of Zero from the Megaman series, but I like to think he's evolved dramatically since then. Once my main avatar, I've practically retrofitted his entire personality and appearance, and I like to think of him as an original character now.
His nickname, Zero, now comes from the powercell he uses, zero point energy. Completley clean and immensely powerful, his palms even bare a rarely used conversion system that allows him to fire massive blasts of zero point energy, effectively obliterating anything in its path.
