Newbie - Tsutarja
Looks like I did it again! I drawed a fatty pokemon!
Well, it took me quite a while longer than some others to realize that they even revealed the starter pokemon for the 5th generation pokemon, but I had to draw this. Shuddup X3
Anyway, tsutaja is probably going to be my starter when the game comes out (that will be a long time from now, dangit) I've never ever had a grass starter, so this will be my first. Unless I get Heart Gold, in which case, guess which one I'm picking then! The reason I'm choosing the grass snake over the fire pig is because, although the pig is cute; knowing GameFreak, the piggy will have the most pissed, grumpiest, and most buff looking 3rd evolution. So if that turns out not to be the case, I'll go for da piggy, cause I want to evolve my starter this time around + I want cuteness! Or at least not crazy 'I'm going to rip your head off' looking.
You all know who owns pokemon. It isn't me, that's for sure.

In Kanto, the grass starter had a ton of matchup advantages over the course of the game, while the fire starter a ton of disadvantages. I guess it would depend on the gyms in the new region, but picking your starting pokemon is somewhat like choosing a difficulty setting =V
But, you'll never beat the game if the first thing you do is fatten your pokemon to immobility :p

I saw the three earlier this weekend online and I have to say they look sorta stupid, the 5th gen starters don't look as good as I was hoping for.,.maybe the evolutions or rest of the 5th gen pkmn will be way better looking. As usual I start my games with the Grass type when first playing at all, except for HG where I chose Cyndaquil because he just plain rocks!
Anyway, good luck to us both as we explore the unknown region of un named PkMn with this cool lizard thing. ^_^

I don't follow pokemon like a maniac or at all really, so I'm not gonna muk up the comment with complaints like the ones above. I'm just here to appretiate the fan art and what good fan art indeed Lyke. Tsutaja looks so cute when fat :3 I wants tsutaja asynstarter but the piggy looks cute too...but then it comes to the water starter...omg that one oozed cuteness! X3 I'm definatly going with water!
