OCtober #9: Flowers and Birthstone

September the mage with his birth month flowers and birthstone, the aster flowers and peridots. Coincidentally, his last name is "Aster", so that's just perfect!

Also, most of you may know sapphire to be the birthstone for September, but many ancient calendars had "chrysolite" as the birthstone of the ninth month until recent times, which is another name for peridot! (And a couple other gems, our ancestors were pretty confused when it came to classifying gems).

Instead to follow the classic "Inktober" list, we decided to draw the prompt from the OCtober list created by our friend  LovelyWingsArt (as OCeptember, but we are using it in October, so... OCtober XD). You can see it HERE.
