Ruvik has always been a sniper by nature, but it's about time I designed a proper looking weapon for the guy. By tracing a bit from a Gunlance, and drawing concepts from Warframe and Destiny, I bring you the Retributionist.

A treasure of his from the earlier days he joined the wandering immortals group, the Retributionist is a marvel of magic incorporated into technology. The gun fires bolts of pure Enthropy energy that wreaks havoc on the molecular integrity of what it hits, resulting in its targets either liquifying, disintegrating or exploding spectacularly. The cylinder on the gun is actually more like a battery or a reactor; it does not need to reload, but needs to vent out heat and fallout after a few shots. The reactor draws power from Ruvik's heart _ the organ itself a trophy from a previous quarry of his _ meaning that only he can fire it.

The hinged barrel focuses the Enthropy blasts from the gun into its devastating long-reaching sniper bolts. It also has an underbarrel grenade launcher assisted by crossbow strings. Swinging the barrel open not only allows it to be holstered, but it also changes the firing mode. Without the focusing mechanism in the barrel, the energy blasts take on a more shotgun spread-like property, turning it into a close-range weapon.
