The Shankari are what every Varashi is at their soul, Shadows. they are born in the shadowrealm between Darkahn and a one of its more powerful denizens the Night Mother, aka Nox Arcana (alittle incestuouse). this was done to balance out Darkahns nature of being the Dragon God Of Death. as per the Dreamers wishes. but enough lore what about the Shankari you ask?

Simply this. their born of it so they are natural stalkers, stealthy, comfortable in the dark corners of the world. so of corse their agents are going to be the best class amongest them. Ninjas, monks, assassins scouts you name it! the Shankari is the best way to describe them are the real Folk heros of the Varashi, its in their nature. duh.
