an Aria from a Dark alternate timeline where she was raised by Ivory and Ebony as their daughter instead of Kimberly, and thus had Follow Me, I Have A Spare Space In My Den's life. she was named after Aunt ShinyThing, who in this timeline died from a Coronavirus outbreak (or rather, Shinything was where the virus came from!)
as for how this is possible, the explanation gets a bit weird. for whatever reason, Aria, Follow Me, I Have A Spare Space In My Den, and Sebastian are all "Soulmates" with each other- the three of them destined to be together forever. which in layman's terms means the three of them might as well be the same person, as far as the concept of fate is concerned. so since hers was a universe where Follow Me, I Have A Spare Space In My Den never existed, the Aria of this timeline ended up shunted into taking his place.
rather than being rescued though, the Shiny Eevee taught herself Iron Tail, murdered her way through the poachers and fled to Sparklewood. exhausted from her escape attempt, she passed out on the doorstep of the Rainbow-Heartshine sisters, who took her and raised her as their own. of course, this means the Eevee was also the one to suffer the Washrag incident in her Glaceon counterpart's place. which dyed her eyes in a goofy, wall-eyed glare, burned her eyelids into looking like overdone eyeshadow, and eroded her teeth into sharklike fangs. that experience and the destruction of her innocence when she killed the poachers eroded her morals to damn near nothing. and turned what would of been a sweet girl in another life, into a stone-cold, sadistic killer.
cursed to randomly jump into other timelines much like all Follow Me, I Have A Spare Space In My Dens are, she had massacred her way across the Multiverse. most recently ending up in the main Timeline, with plans to terrorize her Glaceon counterpart's Pittsburgh.
Why? because she is madly in love with Follow Me, I Have A Spare Space In My Den, and wishes to spend the rest of her life with the Glaceon. as well as help him return to his old sociopathic self, which she feels he lost touch of after what happened in Nevada. she even went so far as to zap herself with a stolen Wave-Function Collapser. making herself into a permanent resident in Follow Me, I Have A Spare Space In My Den's universe once she was sure she was in the right timeline.
it... didn't work out quite as well as she hoped in the end. she was stripped of her signature weapon by Shadow Akibara and soundly defeated (who knew the Flareon was a Move Deleter?) she would've been sent to Jail or forced to leave the city, had Ebony not stepped in and asked to take the Leafeon in, much to the shock of everyone. ShinyThing II, much like her Glaceon counterpart, could not say no to this proposition. and after a decisive coin flip in Ebony's favor, the damaged, psychotic Shiny went from crazy multidimensional stalker, to the newest adopted member of the Rainbow-Heartshine family.
you'd think this would be a win for ShinyThing II, but this means her crush is her brother now- Frigging Ew...!
