I now have three white's tree frogs! The first one was named Fats, but he is now ironically the least fat. Naming the new ones (pictured here) Ortin (based on the purple fungus, Cortinarius archeri, as he was a deep bluish-purple when I got him) on the top, and on the bottom, the female, Slimolda. Ortin turned a more bluish color and then deep greenish-blue for this picture. I'm about to upload a picture of his belly that looks more like the fungus :o)

These are some of my favorite frogs; I had several as a kid growing up. I could even imitate their croaking. I remember one time one of them escaped and we thought it had died, then days or weeks later, my mom went to get the vacuum cleaner out of the closet and there he was sitting right on it, rather dry and covered with lint, but otherwise alive. I wish I had the means to keep some right now.
