Well after playing lots of Mass Effect 2 and feeling the urge to draw a human for once well this idea hit me. Boys and girls meet Max. Max has had a pretty odd life. He was bought from some Bertarian Pirates when he was lil by a Cerberus Lab. They were looking for test subjects nobody would miss. Max here had various stuff tested on him. One of which was a an Age Stasis gene modification. It worked like a charm. Essentially freezing Max's age at age 4. Max also had a Cognitive Nerve Response gene alteration done on him as well. It was meant to make him smarter and lend faster reflexes. Once more this worked. But unlike the Age Stasis gene this one had some side effects. It numbed a few nerves. As a consequence Max doesn't feel he has to go until just before he does or until he's actually going. Max has never been out of diapers as a result. The Bertarians only had him for a week and the Lab technicians didn't wanna spend the added time. It was relatively easy to have a minifactoring system just make more diapers as needed. Max eventually realized that the testing would eventually lend to some not so nice outcomes and being as he'd gotten a lot smarter he made friends with some of the other lab subjects. For one a Salarian name Jeval. Jeval had been one of the non-human species the Age Stasis gene was tested on. His age was frozen at about teenaged equivalent to humans. The two planned and eventually managed to cause a facility wide system freeze that allowed them to escape. Max Also made sure a copy of all base files were sent to the Illusive Man and Alliance Navy. Neither were happy. The Cerberus staff from the base were mostly allowed to be Captured by Alliance forces and the head project leaders were taken by more moral Cerberus staff and were summarily executed. They were blown out an air lock.

Now Max has made a nice lil living for himself with many of the others that escaped. He sticks to Citadel space most of the time. He usually however doesn't go around like we're seeing him now. Normally he can be found riding around in an ExoSuit that lends the appearance of some sort of suited up alien. After a while the comments about being too little to be out on his own and offers to help him find his mommy or change his diaper from complete strangers got very old so the suit was the best idea. He does go out like this though sometimes when he's with Jeval though. They've stuck together over the years.
