I wanted to paint something sweet and memorable for our time visiting my partner's old homestead in central Oregon. I find great peace looking over the valley every morning with a Mason jar of coffee. My coyote character Crooked Waters features here as a placeholder for myself. I think morning coffee/tea rituals are so important. Small rituals mean the most sometimes.
