At least not when it comes to matters pertaining to love~

The size difference may seem a bit off at first, and there were many who would think so. Poor Carmen wasn't entirely sure what she was going to do when she found herself falling hard for the large, handsome fire drake, and she imagined he was thinking pretty similarly to herself. She'd often heard the phrase "size doesn't matter" quite a lot, but she never imagined it applying to a situation such as this. It was meant to be used to reassure less well-equipped males and boost their confidence, not to reassure her when her crush had the potential to squish her with a single footstep. The thought was scary enough, on top of the usual anxiety that came with pursuing such a desire. But, the thoughts and desires refused to go away, and eventually both thought it was a better idea to at least try and make things work than to just throw a potentially happy outcome to the side before they've even had a chance of experiencing it.
And, much to their surprise, they managed to make it work! It was difficult at first, of course, and required a lot of communication and working around things, but soon enough, they had an entire system going where they managed to keep themselves and their relationship afloat. One may be incredibly large and the other incredibly small, but that wasn't going to get in their way as long as they could help it.

So you see, size really doesn't matter, in more circumstances than just one. So long as both partners are willing to talk things out and work around each other, things can still turn out alright in the end~

This was a really adorable YCH that  valcyrie and I managed to get together, featuring her male dragon Ven and my dragoness Carmen together for the first time! I'm honestly really happy with how it turned out and couldn't resist the urge to squee when I first saw it.
