This is a GIFT I got from someone on the Furry Life Online website! I spent a significant amount of time defending my particular flavor of the furry fandom in several threads there against people who would associate my life long fursona with bad behaviors from bad people. Specifically, people who think feral/quadrupedal/non-humanized characters are inherently bad due to the occasional use of the material by criminals who abuse vulnerable individuals. I find that argument to be faulty and will NOT yield in that view. While my efforts have previously been mostly thankless, someone who apparently appreciated my efforts found time to make a wonderful gift for me, and for that, I am thankful for the art, but even more so to know that I am not alone in defending who I am.
My eternal gratitude towards https://furrylife.online/profile/16.....-rodentprince/ for their gesture. I do not know if they have other accounts elsewhere for crediting.

Oh, I agree. I was extremely disheartened to see that they enacted what they did - but I am happy that they made the exceptions and concessions that they did. While we may never know, and I'm biased of course, it is entirely feasible that some of my arguments may have been some of what convinced them to make those exceptions, and that is always a great feeling to have. Given how close the margin was for their poll, it probably isn't as permanent as one might think. As such, I'm going to maintain somewhat of a presence there and hope it changes in the future. I imagine that the ban might've sent a large population packing though, so it may be a futile effort. Who knows. Either way, I will never not make noise about it. Not going to give up my place out there.
A lot of it depends on the userbase. The whole reason it got traction in the first place was the very loud and very vehement people demanding a ban on the subject, and fiercely defending it in the forums, causing the staff to listen. I suspect a large portion of them will not budge on the topic no matter how often it's discussed.
