Hey y'all,
In another bit of art based offa me an'
's PostWar tale, The Desolation Alley Run.
This is Elbert Kuster's rebuilt UH-1M/D gunship. Heavily modified, it is the culmination of several years of finding parts, making parts, and building the bird.
It's armed with four M-240 machine guns, two 20-round box-launchers of 2.75 inch FFARs, and a nose-mounted M-75 40mm automatic grenade launcher.

With choppers like these, viciousness doesn't quite cut it -it's too much a classic for it.

Was told this was an excellent pencil-line of a helicopter and I think I made out that it was a UH 1 MD? (Not sure...the reader ran the letters togetehr too fast to make them out clearly) If so, i bet it looks menacing...given your propriety for heavy artillery and the like. Please give my commendations to the artist or srtists that deserve them. And I shall continue to catch up on your other drawings/sketche and writings that I have left get so horribly backlogged.
