I promised pictures of my new computer set-up, so here it is! Sorry for the poor quality, light it quite low where I've set up. The Beast is the name I picked for the computer, since it's WAY more powerful than anything I've ever owned. You can see my old laptop in the lower right corner there sitting on a barstool. I'm temporarily using it still because my old scanner (ten years old) is not compatable with Windows 7.
My 21.5" LG flatscreen monitor *drools* (with a nice sleeping Wolfy photo as a desktop background) along with my fabulous little photo printer sit atop a pine table that's about as old as I am I think. There's my super beat-up Intuos 3, still works like a charm despite the scratches in the plastic cover. And my RMCAD pencil box and a little German Shepherd plush for accent. XD
Below all that is the tower itself, which is very red and glowy and neato! I moved Loaf's cat castle next to my table so she can come hang out with me, which she does almost all day except the time I decide to take a photo. You can kind of see my six point elk antler shed poking out in the back there too. I've had that since I was a kid.
Well, that was ramble-tastic! =D

It's no issue for me as long as I'm really into what I'm working on and get out for a walk once a day (at least an hour). =3 But, I did only just now set this up, so I might find myself going insane sooner or later! I can always move it into the living room and have more space if that becomes an issue.
yay for new computer systems! My hubby just bought me a new iMac for mother's day :) Best computer I've ever owned and for digi stuff everything looks WAAAAY better. my latop washed and drowned out colors terribly. but Imma still keep it around for a computer when i need to go places. but anyways. your system looks great :) and i love the wolf piccy ^.^
What model is that little Dell? I have a similar looking one that has a working wireless card. But the power brick is hosed. It's a Inspiron 600m that a friend just gave to me but I need to get rid of it (or part it out). I could give you the wireless card that's inside it.

This isn't the only work space though, across the living room about 1/3 of the space over there is used for my tower of art supply drawers and my drafting table. Now that I've freed that space of it's digital captors, I can tilt up the table and start acrylic painting again!
