"Pest control on a ship is extremely important, especially on long voyages. Because the last thing you want to see is a portion of your rations missing due to an uninvited guest, or some critical system failing due to a chewed out wire. There are, of course, systems in place to prevent such things, but sometimes I'll get a stowaway. And they have to be dealt with before they deal too much damage. Although sometimes I wonder if they board my ship on purpose, in order to see the cosmos with me..."
